Try to get the babysitters with care. Obtain references from family, friends, and neighbors. Once you have chosen the caregiver, drop in unexpectedly to see how your children are doing. My kid is also studying in Orchids The International School in Bangalore and I have a care-take who takes care of my kids until we are back home from work. Finding a reliable care-taker is really hard. We appointed a known lady from our native to look after my kids. All is good till today!Ask your children how the experience with the caregiver was, and listen carefully to their responses.

My son is studying in Little Valley The International School, Bangalore and sometimes I come late from work. I have taken help from my neighbour who is my close family friend. I have given few contact numbers including mine for any emergency. Till now it is going on good. When they go out, I am little confused where to leave my kid. My husband and I need to make some adjustments to take care of him.

Your child should have a trusted adult to call if he/she is scared or have an emergency, in case if you are not available

Children should know their full name, home phone number and how to use the telephone. Post your contact information for easy access by your child, in their pocket, bag, behind their tie etc.such as, office phone number, cell phone, pager, etc.
