Hi all,
Pls help me out here. My baby is allergic to wheat. Does anyone know if rava is made from wheat or not?

yup, its wheat product.in US the trade name for rawa is semolina or cream of wheat !
maida(wheat fine powder),sooji or rawa is all products of wheat ! however, sooji is healthier than maida...

alternatively you can use corn meal,in making items of sooji,,like corn meal porridge,,halwa,,its tasty,,and you will not need to put sugar because corn meal is sweeter than rawa !!!
