i want you to include daily in her diet the below foods :
1.offfer your baby diet full of below : increase/a must serving mono-polysaturated fats,,found in foods such as olive oil/canola oil(like in tadka), also offer one time foods cooked in groundnut oil(in tadka),,its high in essential fatty acids,,esp good source for vegetarians...peanut butter, avocados, nuts,,whole wheat breads, pastas(whole wheat, whole grains, mixed grains)..increase means considerr it as a must in her diet,,,you cant add in extra to make her diet full of oil etc..hp you got my point !

sweet potatoes, milk servings, cheese(avoid animal renett cheese),lots of fresh vegies(avoid celery),include egg yolks, brocolli, spinach esp in most of the servings..include soy products, on every alternates.
now about some tentative meal plans:
3-4oz of cows milk with cardamom or ne milk additive,,,after 2 hours, comes breakfast,,which includes : iron fortified cereal with milk/or raagi with ghee,jaggery/or a serving of whole grain bread with cream cheese or butter, mix vegetable paratha with butter or cheese.
brunch goes with serving of fruits, like banana,grapes/soaked raisins, mashed if your baby likes it that way,,add in some cardamom if she likes it,,apple sauce(boiled apple with skin),or a bowl of soup(tomato, potato, one lentil, one green vegetable, and a source of protein/chicken or tofu)
lunch: a full serving of 1 hard grain,1 vegie, 1 lentil, rice, and a serving of meat or protein,or egg//offer yolk to the ratio of 2yolks:1white..and one serving of fish(tuna or salmon)..offer lean meats though,,
after lunch snack : a sep serving of cheese, yogurt, wholegrain bread/multigrain crackers with cheese dip(melt the cheese, pref sharp cheddar, add in your baby fav vegie,,go for avacado and banana dip,,great,,),or a serving of juice with a cheese grilled sandwich(multigrain or whole grain/wheat),,,spinkle some soaked and boiled, mashed or pwderd almonds or mixed nuts with some chopped fruits..

late evening snack,a glass of milk,,pref 5oz..

dinner after 2-3hours,,could be same as lunch, but if you are offering say wheat, try to offer rice and add in other source of wholegrain like somepasta or just soaked toast,,or some other grain like oats, barley,,or even rice with mix vegetable is fine.or brown rice boiled with apples, nuts and cinnamon...
offer all rotis or rice, with either sprinkle of shredded or pwderd cheese or ghee. whichever you prefer,if you are giving in morning with cheese, offer ghee at night !
before sleeping 5oz of cows milk, with a lil sprinkle of cardamom or ne milk additive like jr horlicks, complan, or ovaltine or nesquick or ask your dr about pediasure..
since your baby is having reflux,i would not advice you to use much of spices in her foods..and because wght is the main issue here,,give your child the textures that he prefers,,as of now..i understand we expect our kids to eat alot diff textures but experimentng them at the cost of thr wght is no wise decision..go slow with introducing lumps like soaked roti,,try mashed foods like mashing with your hand,,and see if she accepts it,,offering in middle of meal might just make her eat it,,instead of offering at the first bites,,,
when you cook her meats,,,,cook with methods like roasting, and cooking in oven..,,avoid frying,,whnever you cook ne vegetable or boil it in water, try to use that water in your baby food..dont throw it !
add in to your baby regular wheat servings, wheat germ or wheat bran.its available these days, everywhere...and with the serving like khichdi, lentil rice or dal rice add in a tsp of oat bran while cooking itself..adding soy pwder will also provide good protein,,good brands of soy pwders(calcium fortified) are avlble for cooking..add in soy flour mixed in her chappatis,,
whnever you serve your baby ne iron rich meals,,include foods like tomatoes, broccoli, oranges or strawberries,,or if you are offering iron fortified cereal,,,after say 1hour, the next brunch serving let it be tomato soup !
give smoothies(no ice)/juices or ne liquids with tsp of bran in it,,just put it and blend it well..and offer..avoid more juices thoug,,instead offer the fruits by the way of smoothies....
avoid offering ne type of artificial sugar,,replace with raisins, banana,,or carrots or sweet potatoes.
avoid as much as sugar you can in her diet..jaggery a lil is fine,,kids dont need excess sugars..

please note that these foods should be introduced to baby(if not introduced) considering her apetite acceptance. for ne new food you offer, offer it during mid noons or mrnings to check on activity levels and making sure that his apetite digests it well.
dont expect your child to complete the meals, and offer minimeals every 3-4hours...avoid ne food that does not contain proper food labels, and poultry that does not contain the grade AA or A ratings.
tanu, check on ne allergy issues, acceptance, nd if at all your baby has ne abnormal behaviour reg the bowels, or activities,,avoid giving that food. m abit afraid only because she is having reflux.so i will not force you to try for new texture until she herself accepts it..so try like once a weeek with texture and not more..also some babies were prone to reflux more often because of nuts etc,,so you may want to consider that...whatever you offer,,offer one by one weekly and thn take her to full diet as mentnd above..also if you think that dairy prod is making her abit bloaty or heavy,,reduce one of the dairy serving with low fat option ! its not imp to have fat when GOOD wght is considered,,what is imp is muscle !!!
after all the meals, let your baby walk a while and not get overstimulated with playing or gettng excited...
there are sme ayurvedic cures for unwght babies that are mango smoothie/milkshake(make it cold, offer it COOL),,three dried figs soaked in water taken twice a day, makes body increase wght,,but for figs and mango,,double check with your baby,,ne refluxes, signs of irregular bowels,,stop it ! right now its winter so it shouldnt be a problem !
dont cut on fibrs, proteins,,if you want to cut, cut the dairy products and meats,,or offer them in low fat options...go for good brands of food that are trusted and rated,,stored well in stores..
and yes, after all this, consult a good nutrionist because always results are better when physical and personal advice is taken with weekly or to say regular observation with proper physical checking and tests...and true health results are determined by personal consultation only..

you will get lots of other recipe ideas from(look for the ingrediants that is right for your baby) :
1.wholesomebabyfood dot com
2.homecooking dot com
3.superbabyfood dot com
4.check on indiaparenting diet section, nice recipes therein too.
5.indianchild dot com
6.tarladalal dot com.

these should help you with tons of recipes,,so suite yourself with whatever your baby accepts !
please note the above suggstns is in case of tanu's daughter only, before offering the above high calorie diet to your child, please check with your dr before offering your baby this diet..
all babies dont need same types of food as they grow differently and so does their apetite acceptance.unless otherwise your dr mentions that your baby needs a high calorie diet please do not opt for it..it may lead to other digestive, obesity or other problems...for ne high calorie diet, its imp that baby acceptance and taste are respected !

hope this helps...a very good luck to you,,and i guess m done for the day...
