Hi Nidhi and others,

Nidhi u had written to me that u got IVF done in India. After u went to India when did they start with IVF, how long we have to stay there. If i decide to get IVF in india, when should my husband go there. How long he has to stay.

For those who had IVF done in US, i wiould like to know how long does the whole procedure take. I have to go for IVF, But GOD knows how much i'am afraid of. All those painful tests. I already had 2 surgery.

Will they repeat all tests again, like HSG. Does anybody living near New Jersey got IVF done here.

My husband is saying that if i want we can get my IVF done in US or in india. He is leaving it to me. But my mind is so afraid.
This cycle i will be going for IUI, but have very little hopes b'coz only one tube, which is not gurantee that it is ok.

S M replied. For the IUI you are gonna do ,have faith in it and in yourself.Sometimes even the slightest of faith can be enough for you to achieve your most cherished dream.

Just go with a positive frame of mind ,say to yourself in your heart with all your faith that its going to happen this month.

Hope everything works good for you dear. S M replied. I have not done IVF,but the RE that i had gone to had said that IVF normally happens in a day and the next day you can go home,and its not a serious surgery or anything though you may be asked not to do any heavy work or something like that.

I know its not much info,but regarding the cost its definitely cheaper in India than in U.S.A,but the care and feel good factor might definitely be a plus point in U.S.

More so doctors in India are a little conservative ,or uncomfortable regarding the questions you may have as compared to the doctors here in U.S

But if you go to the right docs in India you would get all the above.

I don't know if you have visited dr malpani's site it is kind of informative.

u can get IVF done in india or USA it depends on u..In india its cheaper plus u may have parents/relatives to support u..In USA its expensive but if ur a complicated case they may have better technology for ur problems..work it out if money is an issue then india & if its not then USA...but definately get ur medicines from india..it will work out cheaper..
