hi ! tanu, i now u're question is for hetal and i am sure her anwers and tips r on the way but since i faced the same problem with my daughter i wanted to give u some tips. i had to travel to india so i began giving gerber to my daughter and god, she got hooked on it and wouldn't eat anything other than gerber even when she was 18months but your child is i guess 22 mnths or so by now your child would have teeth - right!! so u can start by making a very soft alu paratha for her. u just have to remember the softer it would be the more u child will like it so u don't fry it with ghee for a long time. just enough for it to get cooked a little. and then flip and apply butter and serve with sweetened yogurt. it really worked with my daughter and then slowly i started daal paratha and other things. and when she was young i made roti and dipped it in warm or probably hot milk in a bowl and let it soak for a good while then it becomes mushy and add a little ghee and sugar as fussy children generally like sugar and served it. she will like it i am sure ! but the best bet would be to sit with her and eat yourself too. with company children do tend to eat ! hope all this helps. more i guess u'll learn for hetal when she replies.
