I am going to India with my 1 year old for 3 months.
My 1st concern is her feed, is there anything equivalent to the formula in India..please let me know guys coz i dont know whether i shd start with cows milk in India or not...
My other question is for mosquito bites ..is there any cream that is available??
What r the other preautions do u moms take while travelling to India or other country.
Please help me as i am travelling alone.
Thanks. Vidya replied. We went to India last year and followed the tips given to us our pediatrician.
1:For mosquitoes buy a net even if your home does not have mosquitoes. Put the net whenever your baby is sleeping. Net will help to ward off not only mosquitoes but also other types of bugs

2: Take insect repellent with DT less than 10%

3:Use lactogen formula. I have heard from freinds thats its sweeter in taste and kids like that.

4:FOr my daughter I took pediasure and jar baby food. Jar food was really helpful whenever she had diarrhea.

5:As soon as you see she is getting sick go to the Indian Doctor and take his advice.

6:Make sure your in-laws/parents know of a good Doctor and have his contact information handy.
