We're all here for each other love.. To answer your question, the dye is not harmful. (it wouldn't be used if it was, love.)
But immediately afterwards u may get light spotting, and some cramping. It's usually advisable to be rested for the next 2 days after that.
Just focus on the outcome, forget about everything else.

Hi Nikks,

sorry to be a wee bit late!!!!

Yaa as everyone said, we are all here to give each one of us company, not that we like doing so, But wat to do. But i can definitely tell u tht the one above is hearing all our words and he is surely going to do gud to each one of us, we have to just have patience and see for our time!!!

Yaa the HSG is a bit painful or rather should i put it this way, its not comfortable. But if we have to go thru it there is not other choice na dear. so go ahead. Keep praying while its being done on u and u will not know when the things over!! Trust me!! I hav also gone thru it but came out really feeling relieved.

We at ttc board are all praying for each one of us to get thru this board!!!

HE has brought us all to it and he will surely get us thru it too!!!

Loads of baby dust on u and all of us.

Hey Karishma,

Sweet of you to have replied....just cannot tell you how gud it feels to read all of the messages that we exchange....am glad that i registered on this website...there is so much warmth and love and of course lots and lots of baby dust....feel very cozy ...I hope and pray that we all get preg soon and have the cutest babies possible...:-)...I guess I am kinda ready for any tests which the doc will do on me after reading all the msgs from you all ....I have the strength now...thx and "Blessed Be".

What ever u r going throught we are all going through the same pain as u'rs. Lets be good and wait until our turn come nothing much we can do.
Yes it hurts when most of them conceive on one try but we will get the BEST b'coz we have experienced a lot of pain. We are there for each other.

Thanks a lot sunshine for all your info. I hope all this works out and soon am able to conceive. It really sucks at times when I see all my friends with kids and they conceived at the first try only and I am the only one left. Dunno why god is testing me sooooooo much? Feels as if he has stopped listening to my prayers....neways I do know one thing that it will happen even if it is a challenge we all will be able to battle it out and succeed with flying colors....Lots of love and hope thgs work out for you soon. Hi Nikks,
Just saw all your messages. The good news is that after Hsg many woman get pregnant naturally. The dye is inserted and sometimes with the pressure, minor blockages r opened and the tube gets opened. So go for it. Its not all that painful. I've had it too. If u r concerned about pain, check about any pain medication u can take before the procedure. This is a good diagnostic tool. If it tells u your tubes r open, its reassuring. And if they r closed, u know that u might have to opt for IVF. Don't worry. Things will work out for u.
