Anita replied. Hello dear this is really good to see that you are looking to teach your child safety measures but then what are you going to cover as even i want to teach my child as well as i am having a daughter who is in teens and all the time i am worried about her safety.
Anaida replied. Hello jayshree good to see that you are looking for child safety teachings for your kid as nowadays one should always make sure that your kid knows the basic safety measures as anything can happen and the child should know how to defend one self. Good thought i must say.
hrishikesh replied. hello friend,
you should set boundaries for your kid, that you should not allow them to go far with friends, also make sure that there is no substitute for your attention and supervision.
prerana replied. hello friend,
you should make strong friendship with your kid, also you should get involved in childrens so you can spend more time with them, also you should know where your kid goes and with whome they plan to go out.
angad replied. hello jayasree,
you should get involved with kids, and you always give attention towards them, also you should knew where they go at what time, and with whom, also check with you the changes in plans.
anurag replied. hello jayasree,
you should teach the kids best techniques which is very helpful for them, when they feel helpless then they need to understand the thing how to protect and keep safe self.
nirja replied. hello jayasree,
you should understand your kid gesture and try to understand feeling of them, so it will be easy to give them trust on you, and they will be feel safe with you, also you should teach them small small things.
Stutee Saini replied. Make your child understand the basic safety measures. If you are the one picking and dropping them at school, then maintain it regularly and in case of alternatives inform them in prior. I usually drop and pick up my child in her school (Orchids International) and in case there is a change, I let her know. Also, teach them the difference between a right and wrong touch and encourage them to tell you when they dont feel comfortable around someone' s presence.
Girija replied. Get INVOLVED with your children. Know where your children are at all times. Ask your children to check in with you if there is a change in plans. Make sure that there is no substitute for your attention and supervision.
Aditi replied. TEACH your child.
Set boundaries about places he/she may go, people they may see, and things they may do.
Reinforce the importance of the \" buddy system.\"
It' s OK to say NO—tell your child to trust his/her instincts.
