it will be great if anybody could help me regarding the high calorie food for my daughter who is severely underweight.

I had the very same problem.... my baby did not take milk from bottle or sippy cup..only spoon which was very messy mostly.....but i kept trying bottle after giving 2 spoons of millk... [never forced]one day she drank from bottle ....now...she is drinking from bottle and abt the food.... my baby liked ragi sooji very much...so i just added vegetables... or fruits in ragi...slowly i reduced ragi n gave other things too... may b this trick will work..... i keep a pile of toys with me...n give each n every one to distract..its really tough time feeding sometimes.... may b u can ask for an apetizer to ur doctor....

I am really having a hard time feeding my daughter.she has food aversion.....and nothing seems to be working.She gags everytime when the texture of the food is mushy.......she has no problem if the texture is like the applesauce.I have to distract and feed her each and everytime.she doesn't drink from the bottle...no sippy cup....only SPOON.plz help me.She is severely underweight.I will be glad if anybody could help me.thanx.

Hey ! Hetal,I really find ur tips very helpful.Will u plz help me regarding my baby.My daughter is a premmie.She was born 3 months early...that is in my sixth month.Now she is 22 month old now.....the problem with her is only and only feeding.She absolutely doesn't want to eat.she has severe food aversion.Regarding her medical checkups she has no internal problems....BUT is undeweight....she just weighs 20 lbs.so u can imagine how underweight she is.can u suggest FYI my daughter gags if i give her food with thick texture.applesauce texture is okk. I have to distract her evrytime i feed her.Plz help.any kind of ideas is welcomed.
