hey guys!!
today i had my u/s. im 6wks, 3 days preg today. it was a vaginal u/s. and as soon as it came on the screen the nurse said 'oh-oh!!' and i knew something is out of routine here. and then the doc said, 'do u see that sac? thats the one which has ur baby and if u look closely at this blinking dot here...thats the heartbeat. and can u see... there are two sacs!! so u r carrying twins!!'...and both of them had different blinking dots!! and i heard two different heart beats one by one it went rapidly like 'dig-dig.dig-dig.digdig'...verrrry fast....!!
myself and hubby were overwhelmed! he was more overwhelmed with happiness. i was more with shock and anxiety. twins make it a high risk pregnancy. doc says there are fair chances that only one may be able to make it. and i know the risk is more than that, though he didnt say it. but he also said that there is nothing i can do... so i just need to sit back and relax...at this moment, everything looks great!!
guys, i need ur prayers more than ever now. i wasnt prepared for twins. but now i want both of them to survive the entire 9 month journey and beyond!! am i asking for too much?

You are really a winner!! Look at it this way - You just have one set of preg discomforts and then twin bundles of joy..

Never say high risk.. Say high maintenance. You've to be more careful, eat well and get checked more than any other primi. You were on clomid for some cycles na? clomid can result in hyper-ovulation resulting in multiple preg. in hyd, quadruplets completed their fist b'day recently. I know of a lady in my hometown, who also carried quads to safety.

Have you bought the book \";what to expect when you're expecting\";? It was my bible..

And hey.. Werent you just over the moon when you heard the digdig digidigs??
