Trying since long:trying for a baby

hi all..nice to be with you..i find you all very supportive and loving unlike any other message board..

let me come to the point..i'm 24 and married..now i'm trying to conceive after one year of planning..unfortunately the results came negative last two times..does that mean we have some problem? now i feel guilty that we didnt try for a baby as soon as we got married..during that time we were using condoms or the natural way as contraception..

i respect you all since most of you are more experienced and older than me. can you please help me to know what are the things to be taken care of while trying to conceive..i'm a pure vegetarian..does that make any problem? for a normal person how long it will take to conceive? i have heard that it is good to take folic acid while trying to conceive..but my husband thinks that there is no need to take additional vitamins while we already have a very healthy diet..is it ok?

i wish you all good luck..let your dreams come true soon.

hi,

since u r just off contraceptives et al, ur body has to come to its servicing all by itself. I guess u shud keep a gap betn ur contraceptive time and also till the time u ttc. say 2-3 months.

Actually for a normal person, if u conceive within one year of married life, without using any sort of contraceptive, u r normal. In case u dont conceive within 1 yr. of ttc, then i guess jst go and check with ur gynac and she will guide u properly.

Yaa as regards Folic Acid, i feel its a must for who are ttc and also who r expecting. It helps in solving neural defects in the baby!

All the best!! Hoping n praying that u get out of this board as early as possible.

luv coming ur way,

karishma

I had septum in the uterus and got removed. Since I had a history of ectopic pregnancies, both my fallopian tubes are tied. Due to the poor ovarian reserve ... - Malini [View Message]
