its the Indian Red cross society, they will send a person to your home. They provide excellent help. in most of my friend circle, they called maids for help in housekeeping and to take care of their old elders who were at bedrest and kids at home.all of these friends,,live in bangalore,so i guess it should be ok for you..

sometimes they ask you to pay for travelling expenses,if the maid will come from kerala,, and sometimes if their maid is not available locally, you might have to travel to get her..all food,24x7 health care and taking care of all their well being,, will be your responsibilty. its a legal form that you have to sign..thats what i heard,,havent come accross this personally though.best is call them and ask them.i think it dpends on the time you want them to stay and help you out....in above cases i talked, they all had these maids for almost 6-9months or until their elders passed away.
