hows u? i am fine, just very sleep deprived. :( aved has been getting up every few hrs to eat and it gets very frustating. I even want to wean now, but he just wont take any formula. so i am just struggling with him now. if u have any suggesstions for getting him to sleep thru the nite, please pass them on to me! :)
how r things with u? r u bfeeding?
o ya abt that site, it was down for a day for maintaince and is back up. I just feel that is a little more organised that this one! :)

yeah I live in the city and work full time as a software engineer. I grew up learning to program. :)
my son is saying \";MAMA\"; the whole day!!

hey guess what? my son also is a fussy eater, but i am not giving up i keep trying diff foods and now he has satred eating oat cereal.

try to go to the geoparents website, click on messageboards and come over to the indian parenting message boards.
I am the moderator on those boards and would be happy to have u 2 there. :)
Plus we have a few more moms whose babies are born in april.
so we can start a small group of friends? what say? :)
i am trying hard to try and give formula to my son but he refuses it.he just wont open his mouth...i dunno what to do . :(

arti, i read your message. i am really busy with arushi so checking so many sites is not possible. but anyways, u send me the webaddress of the site ! i tried but couldn't get to it as u've directed. so where r u working now ? where do u stay ! for bottlefeeding u could try gerber's NUK nipples. those r the only ones that worked for arushi !regards !

Hi Vani,
Nice to hear from you and good to hear that Arushi is doing fine. regarding custard I feed him Heinz custard. It doesn't contain egg. He likes it very much. Since you said Arushi doesn't like fruits and veggies. Have you tried veggies and fruits from Baby food. Although she doesn't like the homecooked one she might accept it from readymade food. We are also travelling to India in Nov. I am going to take his Formula and some Baby food which he will like that will make my life easier in India. If possible try to carry it. How about vaccination? I am going to consult my Dr. reagrding vaccination. Try and do consult your peadiatrician. Do keep in touch after coming from India.Good Luck!

well, about myself i am from delhi, born and brought up there. i came here about 3 yrs. back. and i am presently in sunnyvale, california ! u're in san francisco. that's nice ! arushi was born on march 19th'02 here in usa. i am not working right now. i plan to sit at home till she is like 2 yrs. of age. i majored in economics in india but here i have studied QA ! so that's about it about me ! u keep in touch ! i wanted to know what u feed your baby ? has he started teething yet ? keep in touch !

it's good to hear from u. ya ! arushi is keeping well. she hasn't yet started teething but her gums r now hard so she is not eating anything. is on a strike it seems. i give her cereal. about custard i wanted i know which brand do u give and what is it made of, i mean does it have eggs as many custard brands have eggs in it. even i was thinking about giving that to her. she doesn't like fruits at all. and neither does she like veggies. so she is a little fussy about eating and that really pisses me off. but her weight so far is pretty ok ! we r travelling to india this coming 7th. any tips on travelling to india ? do keep in touch !

Nice to read your reply. Yes, now my son can roll over and he is trying to crawl. Now I feed him twice rice cereal and once in a day custard. Sometimes I do feed him banana and cooked apple. He is doing fine. Sice his teeth has already come out he likes to chew everything. Still I do breastfeed him but now I am planning not to breastfeed for long.Let's see how it goes. How is Arushi? What's her new progress and how is her feeding pattern? Does she sleep well now? Do keep in touch.

arti ! this is a nice way to meet moms but if u've noticed there is a different section in this messageboards called - \";babies born in\"; wgere u get to choose the birth yr. of your baby. so u could join that. i keep checking that. my daughter was born on march 19th 2002. she is 6 mnths old now. if u like u can post messages here on this particular message and i can also keep checking it. thanks !
