Hetal replied. for teething, let her own gums be ready for it..at the most you can ensure good calcium diet for your own self..its ok for babies to be without teeth almost until 15-16months !! so no worries,,,teething has alot to do with hereditary,,also other aspects that impact on teething is baby own development and diet..if you are breastfeeding,,take a good calcium enriched diet,,if your baby is on solids, at 6months you cant give him much of calcium foods,,but yes you can start your babyy with teethers, and water filled gum soothers, check also for the teething biscuits,,if your baby is able to keep his head steady, is able to pull himself up from the tummy and is able to sit supported or unsupported he is ready for teething biscuit,,just give him to chew or bite it,,,,
sometimes by continuous chewing them,,baby gums gets a good massage and they are stimulated,,which makes them ready for teething,,,although it depends on baby own health...
keep your baby mouth clean, tongue clean and avoid night feeds from now onwards,,,to avoid smelling mouth or gum or tooth decay or deposits of milk on the tongue,,,,which eventually may create problems...
at 6months, not much we can do,,,just keep checking his gums,,swollen, pinkish,,or geetting hard,,is all the sign of teething !!
good luck
