get him checked by your dr..

as to what i see :
if suddenly a bf baby has stopped passing bowels it means you might had some food in your diet that he might not be comfortable with,,and this has caused this..
check on diet, try to have light food and try having some spinach soup,,since you are bf, i expect him to pass bowels after that if at all constpatn is a problem,
one cannot rule out one pssbility when it comes to newborn 6 days old,,unless examination is done properly.
if you see ne signs of :
1.baby stopped crying and not responding.
2.baby turning blue, or reddish blue or greenish,,,visit your dr once.
3. if baby breathng is not proper and you doubt it,,check with your dr.
4. baby refuses to feed,nd cries even after changng of diapr,a good bath or remains fussy for longer hours,,dont wait for my reply.
5.if the meconium was not cleared by the time this happend, thn your dr needs to be seen by your dr immediatly.dont wait for myreply.
6. if meconium has cleared and its thn that this happnd, thn try to latch your baby more often and see if he is able to pass the bowels.
7. give a light pressure around his naval and if at all your baby seems to be uncomfortable with your action,,he needs to be checked by your dr, ,,dont wait for me..
8.you are bf,so try drinking lots of water, fresh vegie soup with fibr(avoid spices),,,and see if works good.

thats all i can as of now,,ne further problem persist, please check with your dr, immediatly,,dont wait for my reply !

Is there anything serious in this ? As we may get the doc only on Monday.
