Trying since long:Normal that people TTC for long?

Hi,

My hubby and are I are TTC for abt 6 months now. Before TTC I was on the pill for abt 3-4 years. However after i gave up the pill my period cycle is normal (abt 25 days). However, I cant seem to conceive.

I had a chat with my GP who said that since I have a regular period it suggests normal ovulation. She suggested tryign for a few more months before the whole round of tests etc.

Am just a bit worried as so many of my friends got a bingo in their first try...

any advice is appreciated...

Hi all,

I got my period one whole week late on last thursday and so was quite depressed. I normally have a very regular cycle and so my hopes shot up when my period was late.

this month i have decided to use the OPK to time it better.

I really hope things work out for us...

Sunny

Welcome aboard... Well, firstly, stop getting tensed and depressed about it.
It happens sometimes that it takes 6 months to one year for the effects of the pill to wear off from the body. I suggest that you relax and don't get upset about it.
Take care,
Just enjoy this TTC and closeness in your relationship.
Love,
Sunshine
