My son is now one year. He is on Isomil and drinks it 4 times a day. He had eczema so doc stopped similac and started isomil. Recently the doc told us to give him whole milk(vitamin D) instead of Isomil. We tried it once giving 6oz and he vomitted abt 5 times that day. What he threw was like curdled milk(paneer). Also he had loose motions which were foul smelling. So he could not digest the whole milk. Now the doc asked us to keep him on Isomil for another 3 months. But we are unsure if Isomil gives all neccessary nutrients to a one yr old? He also has solids like dal-khicadi, Gerber food and cereal. ANy suggestions on how to start regular milk? LN replied. my daughter is 11 moths old.recently i have start to give her a milk..she did the same thing.but now she likes to drink.first you will do one thing,pour 3 ounce milk in the boottle+one ounce water in it+1/2 scoop formula whatever use .and slowly increse the milk amount and stop to add water and formula.try this method. this will be help.
