thanks for your information.pasting the lines from the same website, that might throw some lights on you.
Is the illness contagious? How are these viruses spread?
Yes, viral gastroenteritis is contagious. The viruses that cause gastroenteritis are spread through close contact with infected persons (for example, by sharing food, water, or eating utensils). Individuals may also become infected by eating or drinking contaminated foods or beverages.
with this i understood that one of the cause that my baby had this was due to contaminated foods in that restaurant. since you are using the old batter there is a possibility that batter is the reason for son illness too. tell me a way how can you say that it was only from your baby playmate. he shared the drink or he ate from infected person or vessel. then i am surprised by the fact that how you allow that.and if that is not the reason then ofcourse contagious food is a reason.
supriya sanoj you also be out of this. aarti has to understand that her advices has to be convincing with valid reasonings than just family based experiences.you are lucky that aarti advices have worked for you.but please dont advice something that you are doing for your convinience.
there is a reason why your elders and others dont feel comfortable giving that old batter to babies.and some said the idlis or dosa doesnt come out well.
aarti, i have never said you have threatened supu but inspite of her telling that she will make it on weekends; it was not at all needed for you to explain that she can make it on weekdays. it was a clear from supu next message where she mentions that aarti you have to understand that she cant make it on weekdays as its a new food for her.
this is also my last reply and i am not going to waste time on people like you who give years old ancestors advices.
i would appreciate everyone or even aarti, if tommorrow she will post some good valid replies on this board.
