Foetal Growth Movements:baby is not yet seen

Name: Asmita Dixit Hi,

I am 29 yrs old and was detected for PCOD. Now I am 8weeks2ddays pregnant. The B-HCG count was very low in the starting phase so we went for a sonography at 7w6d.

The scan shows a sack (development of 6w6d) containing the baby' s fluid tank. But the baby is not yet seen in that sack. Doctors have suggested another scan by this weekend to monitor if the yolk (or baby) would be seen.

Is this normal and I just need not worry? Is there anything I can do accelerate the baby' s growth? Will this result in any deformities in my baby?

dont worry

i had a similar experience during my pregnancy.no foetal pole was seen till complete 7wks.we repeted the scan in 8th wk and guess what foetal pole along with good heart activities were seen that was near 8complete wks.so i guess this could be normal.just do as ur dr says.

fetal pole

Hi,
Could u tell me if you conceived naturally or by IVF?I have undergone ivf and got pregnant.I am 6.5 weeks pregnant.Today i had scan and there is no fetal pole or heartbeat.Doctor said by now it should be seen, she said the baby is not growing so stop the medication´ s i.e estrogen and progesterone so that i will miscarry.I don´ t know what to do in this situation.Could u suggest me what to do?
