Archie or anyone else I need your opinion on this.
Recently have been for 20th week scan and baby has been diagonised with choroid cyst around 4.8mm in the head.
They searched for any other markers for Trisomy 18 and did not find any.
I have got Triple Result as 1:1405 for Trisomy 21
1:10000 for Trisomy 18 and spina bifida also low risk.NT scan at 12 weeks was 1.6 mm.
The sonographer suggested that cyst as a stand alone does not implicate any thing if not with other markers and should dissapear by 26th week so rescan at 26th week.She also said they would be no developmental problems in the baby.She checked all other organs are fine and well formed.Also checked for baby feet,NT and found all within normal limits.
The baby was lagging by 2-3 days in ultrasound.
I also have a previous history of delayed conception of 5 days and spotted once in 5.5 weeks.
I want your opinion on this.What do you suggest?
In the ultrasound the baby was active and moving alround.We saw all 4 chambers of heart with normal cardiac activity, kidneys, stomach, hands, legs, mouth, face, umbicial cord, properly formed spinal cord.
Still as a mother am very worried and scared for my baby´ s health.
Please advise me.

i am 29 weeks pragnant and when i was 25, they told me the same, but now cyst is gone and baby is just fine.
Do not worry, have faith in God and everythingwill be OK. sony replied. my friend had the same prob some 4 months back..they even asked to abort the pregnancy..but they consulted other doctor..n u know that baby iz now 1 month old healthy normal child without any abnormality...scanning report may also go wrong..as far as ur doctors r happy nothing to worry...b happyy
