Pls do read the update on Deepti`s bowel movements.She has passed till now today 5 times..i suspect its the milk.I gave her apple juice and then an hour later nan1 and immidiate she passes stools after milk.I will change powder to Isomel from evening feeds abd give her apple and banana mashesd for solids..since she does not like plian boiled apple.

rest all is ok,,dal is ok if and only if its MOONG dal,,,otherwise not,,if you can get, put some crused mint leaves(2-3leaves),,in it and then offer with it.

Most doctors say banana doesn't help - the potassium in it makes constipation worse. Remember you can make your own prune puree in a blender. Grape, grapefruit and papaya are also laxative fruits.
