Hi,
My daughter is 9 months old.She is healthy and active. I bath her with baby soap. But never apply on face.Nowt her skin on nose seems to be rough.Docotor said earlier that its because of dryness and reduce use of soap. She had dry skin on her cheeks when she was 4 months old.Can this be any food allergy? Will egg yolks cause any allergies? .Her stools are normal.Only this skin problem i can see.Do anyone had similar problem?
Thanks,
Anitha

Hi Anita,
How long has been the skin dry?My son had dry skin as well and then we were told that it was due to dairy products allergy,so I would say talk to your Doctor and see what he/she has to say and put lost of baby lotion

hi !

i don't think it's due to any food allegry. your daughter probably has dry skin all over. my daughter too has very very dry skin so i massage her with almond oil but i don't use soap everyday and not at all on her face. so now her dryness is under control ! i use soap only once or twice a week all over. and then use Aquaphor cream on her body and face which really really helps. u could try that. and another thing my doctor said that i should do is - massaging her face with oil which many indians do. she said that could clog the pores and make the skin rough and more problematic. r u in USA, as i am in california and Acquaphor is really helping Arushi ! all the best !
