Feeding:Problem with solid feeding my 8 month old

Hi,
My son is alsmost 8 months old. I started banana powder porridge and mixed pulses/cereals porridge for him by the begining of 7th month. This I feed him twice a day, he likes it. But when i try to give him mashed veggies he refuses to take. So I made it a puree and gave then also he doesnt eat. How do i get him used to solids.

My SON ALSO HATES BOTTLES VEGGIES OR VEGGIES MASHED AT HOME . wHAT I DO IS GIVE HIM RICE+DAL+VEGGIE PRESSURE COOKED TOGETHER WITH SOME GHEE OR CURD.
I also tried veggie soup and he loves it .

hi there,

i guess ur baby is too small. sometimes u hv to offer a certain food as many as ten times for a baby/toddler to start liking the it. so dont be worried if he doesnt eat now. keep offering him 1 spoon at a time( 1 food for 3-4 days) n he will develop a liking to it. good luck!!

I think maybe your baby may not like just mashed veggies. Why don't you try to cokk veggies rice and dal together ?
