I often see this gerber food small bottles in baby stores, I wanted to ask how do feed them as in does it require to mixed with something? And also when can we start feeding.
my baby is 4 months now and is only on BFeed. Can I try it as a start?

always try to give home made fresh food to your baby.I did this mistake.when my son was 6 months old i started with gerber food .some times i gave him home made food but mostly gerber food i used to give him.now he is 14 months old .i want to stop gerber now but he is not ready to take any home made food.so now i am struggling hard with him.
don't do this mistake.give him home made food that is good for his health. console replied. As smom suggested gerber food are for convinience.breast milk is best for baby upto 6 months.after six months you can give her food prepared at home which is fresth and healthy.but you can give her gerber foods too.start with single grain cereal which are available in box.then you can move to 1st foods like carrot.beans,peas that are available in bottle then you can go to fruits.always ask your doctors opinion before you start anything new to your baby. Where are you based? It is not required to feed Gerber food. It is more of a convenience if you are unable to make the baby food yourself. Here in the US, people who work or have many other children find it convenient to use Gerber. It is also convenient if you are travelling. Ofcourse some of my friends who stay at a home with a single child also do it! If you are able to prepare the baby food at home, that is really the best.

If you stay abroad and want to start Gerber check with your doctor who will advise the best.
