Name: sujatha Dear Archie and all,
I am 19 weeks pregnant, and am having white discharge (clear fluid) continously, sometimes it is smelly, please tell me this is normal? or something serious to think about?

Even I have the white discharge with smell which is very uncomfortable. I had discussed it with my doc when I had etching alongwith it and he had suggested me a course of tablets (to be kept into vagina). After that etching was gone, but the discharge remained. I did not again ask about it as I read that some discharge is normal and it is more towards the end of pregnancy. I would say do consult to your doc once atleast.

Hi Sujatha,
It is very normal to have vaginal discharge in pregnancy,however it is cause of concern if it has fishy smell
or it has yellowish color with vaginal itching.Do mention it to your doctor about it as its pretty important if you are in doubt .
