Name: Rekha hi frds, i need your help,my kid is 5 yrs old but he is got bad habit of telling lie,if he does something wrong,being parents we come to know immediately, if i ask him ,with the fear tht i ll scold him he says lie, i assured him not to worry, i ll not scold, but still he reapts the same now i m worried he should not developed tht kind of character please sugeest me wht shd i do

dont worry

when u know he is lying, tell him that u know that he is lying and he cant cheat u and just laugh it out. hug him kiss him,and say that u love him so much and u r not going to hurt him, so that he has the full freedom to tell the truth. when u know he's lying just dont pester him to tell the truth. be aware of what your child is doing.keep checking him, but if he lies just tell him he shouldn't and ignore the matter. he is a small kid. remember 99.9% of the kids do this. if u make a big issue out of it, things will turn out to be bad.
