Hii everybody,

I need help understanding my cycle this time. I have been trying to conceice now for the past 4 months and I had a regular 34 day cycle, except for in September when it got delayed by 13 days ( so i got my periods after a gap of 47 days. I should have got in on septmebr 23 but i got it on 7th of october). The first day of my last period was the 6th of november, which came after 31 days. So i have been thinking that this time too i would get my periods aafter 31 days and I have been charting my BBT this cycle and also using OPK to predict my ovulation. My BBT on 17th was 97.0, 18th- 97.05, saturday (the 19th ) was 97.20. , sun-97.50, mon-97.38, tuesday-97.05, wed 97.39, thursday-97.05.

My OPK started showing positive from sunday onwards... seeing the dip in temp on tuesday i thought i was going to ovulate. but for some reason we were not able to have intercourse on tuesday. But i did check my opk yesterday (because if my cycle is 31 days long this time i should have ovulated yesterday) and i should say that i did see a positive test line which was much darker than the positive test lines i had the previous few days.
Please help me understand why i should have been getting a positive result from sunday and why there should have been a dip in temp on tuesday and again today. My doubt is now if i am at all ovulating this cycle.
mysecond question is even if i dont ovulate can i expect my periods after 31 days or when can i expect it.

i am really not sure how much light i can shed on this ...

i have used BBT and OPK for the past 3 cycles ..but i also go for a sonogram on the 15-16 day ..so that is kind of the thing i finally go with ....

i would suggest ... maybe having intercourse every alternate day ... since you cant be really sure when you will be ovulating ....

since you have pretty regular cycles , i think you must be not having a problem with ovulation ..and remember you have been trying only for the past 4 months ...so it is too early to go to the doc .... i think ...

and abt when you can expect your periods... i am not really sure :( ... bczo as you said you also had a delayed one in Sep ..

the only tthing i can suggest is be cool and positive , try to have intercourse every alternate day this week ...
