hi riya
even my daughter did the same .. so now am adding complan (natural flavour) in her milk..this is v common in india.. so if u dont feel like adding sugar then u can add any of these health drink products.. makes ur kid grow healthy too.. and its oked by my pediatrician.. so consult urs and then u can try this out

Dear Riya,

Has she had any type of milk other than breast milk? If not, it will take some time. But don't worry. Some tips -

- Instead of completely switching over to whole milk, try to introduce only for one feed per day and gradually increase.

- If not whole milk you can add formula like the other poster suggested. Even that, start for just one feed. You could try to dilute the milk/formula

- Do you have some way to express your milk? I have read that some mothers mix breastmilk with formula.

I would really not recommend adding sugar to milk. I agree, that was the way in which our elders did it. But as a nutritionist I hesitate to suggest it. If nothing else works, then you might be forced to add sugar. But try everything else first.

With regards, Aarti

Try adding some sugar if possible..since children tend to like sweet taste

Hi!Maybe it's too early see if you can wait for another month. If not then start with formula milk as it is prepared in a way that a baby can digest it easily. Directly starting with whole milk might not be easy on the stomach.all the best.
