hi

we have a 3 and half month old son is refuse formula and brest milk. he is taking breast milk 3-5 mins abt 2-3 times in 24 hrs. We consult doctor who told its a normal. We dont know what to do ? my wife is trying day and night and due to that she is suffering physically and mentally as she was undergone c-setion.

I am located at edison new jersey. who is the best PEDIATRICS who can help us ? is there anyother doctor apart from peidatrics who can help us ?

There is no need to worry.you baby is doing really good.as he is more than 3 months old he is just getting distracted to surroundings.and belive it or not babies empty the whole breast in 2 min.try feeding him when he is sleeping.if he feeds a min of 8 times a day then he is doing good.
just take care of your wife.only happy and healthy mom can produce lot of milk.

hi raj

as u baby is 3.5 months, running in his 4th month and also he wts 12pounds which is good this stage, i guess ur baby is ready for solids.

talk to his ped abt starting solids. but some peds will say NO to solids till 6 months. But u can start solids anywhere from 4-6 months age. My baby's ped told to start solids when she was 3.5 months old.
