After reading how healthy Raagipowder is for babies I wen taround looking for it..I live in the states and found some thing that said RaggiFlour..is it the same thing?

Appreciate any kind of info !

It's called millet in english and looks like mustard sedds ( rai ) but reddish in color. You should be able to get even in non-indian stores that keep grains

I soak overnight, grind and strain - my son loves it

Instead of buying ragi flour you can buy the whole one,it will be there in the same isle.because we cannot estimate how old it is and it may contain lot of bran(the skin of ragi)which is good for adults but very heavy for babies.it will take really long time to digest and wil result in gassy babies.
just soak the ragi in warm waterfrom tap for couple of hours then wash,grind and filter in tea strainer and cook and feed your baby.it is little bit of work but it is fresh and healthy for babies.
