Hi one of the best ways to put a control over the peer pressure is to keep a distance between the friends and your son. This is the only way to stop peer pressure within a period of time

Peer pressure many feel is overrated. However, as ay parent and thye will tell you that it is indeed a reality and something that all of us need to deal with at some point in time or other. This is especially true for adoloscents. If you are friendly with your child and he or she freely discusses things with you, you could help them when they feel pressured to do things to conform to whatever is deemed hep.

The conviction will help your child to be bold, although your child may be shy by nature. But even if your child is normally bold, it may be quite difficult for him to stand up for something that he only halfheartedly believes in. To handle peer pressure, you first have to be convinced that your beliefs and standards are right.

Kids get influenced by peer pressure but good parenting can help them resist this pressure. As a parent, you have to keep a track on your kid' s activities, friend circle and his issues. Be firm in your decisions and also allow your kids to take their decisions sometimes.
