I am only a week old to this board .. so don't know quite a few of all .
As mentioned earlier i had a history of ovarian cysts which was surgically removed
And as i went today for an ovulation study was diaagnosed of ovarian cysts again .
I really dont't understand what to do . I have spoke 2 my doc and am visiting him 2mrow. I really had hopes this month all in vain .
I really can't think of going thru an another round of surgery . Its exactly 2 years after I was operated for ovarian systs . my left ovary also shows PCOS .
Can anybody tell , with me having PCOS are there any chances og getting pregnant naturally other than IVF etc .
Hey girls , i really need your response .

Anju replied. Hi all ,
Its been long since i have come on this channel .
Its almost past 12 days from the date of my expected period date.
As mentioned earlier I was diagnosed for cysts on the right ovary and now i am without any medications for than one & half month.
I had a query is the delayed period due to cysts or am i pregnant.
Anyone has had the similar experience.
Please advise dear girls.... am thinking twice to get a preganacny strip and test.
hopingfortejas replied. Hey,
i think girls have told you most earlier and not much for me to add ...
Archie, u know what, i agree with you, the %of PCOS is the same but i think that nowadays more girls go to doctor when they cannot conceive within a year and the PCOs is found out, ealrier , they used to wait for a longer time, so maybe that is why we see more women with PCOs nowadays..
Another thing is ofcourse, we are more open nowadays and dont mind talkign abt it ... especially on internet ... so that is very good for all of us who are suffering from it bcoz we get the support we much need during these times ...

Trust me you will get loads of responses here to help keep you calm and understand you are not alone.
The truth is % of PCOS has not changed, just that it's one of the common trouble and girls on this board are largely victim of the same so Karishma claimed it's now a days common. That's not true. Rather it's this way many PCOS victims can be found here and good for you as you can open up your mind with them.
I see you have two problems PCOS and ovarian cysts. Removin ovarian cysts and trying is normal and one can get pregnant. What I don't know is this, do you have the ovarian cyst on the same ovary or other side.
Also PCOS is one factor known to delay conception and with treatment it's possible to get naturally pregnant.
But I have a feeling that given two complexes you must clearly discuss with your Dr. about IVF or IUI, would be better than waiting naturally to happen. Not that you won't conceive naturally but you know today that having identified trouble is making you feel more bad than before, this no matter how much you try will keep adding stress and that's bad while ttc.
hope you get my point in right spirit.

Sunshine replied. Karishma has briefed you already my dear... Most of us girls here suffer from PCOS. Sadly this is becoming more and more common lately.
But the important thing is that its combatiable. You can have healthy children and you will. Trust God. Pray and above all, Be Positive. Positive vibrations can do a lot to improve life.
Try to eat healthy foods. Exercise, fresh veggies and fruits. If u are over weight the doc will ask u to loose weight as well...
Just go along with Doc's advice and keep tossing out your garbage on this board. We are all here for each other.

Dont worry dear, PCOS has become quite common, nowadays. So pls. dont fret. PCOS can b done with thru medications. U dont actually need to go thru an IVF. If all ur other reports are fine / normal and PCOS is the only issue, u will definitely conceive and hav a baby tht also naturally, taking the necessary medications.
So pls. dont take tension. Try talking ur guts out on this board and u will get the much needed support, hope, et al from all the people here. When u take stress and tension, all gud things that u r thinkng off also seem to ward off. So stay Positive.
Wishing u loads and loads of baby dust.

We have been married for the last 12 years. We are trying for a baby but unfortunately every time it's disappointing. I had 3 abortion, 2 Ectopic pregnancy, 1 IUI failure and 2 IVF failures. I had septum in the uterus and got removed. Since I had a history of ectopic pregnancies, both my fallopian tubes are tied. Due to the poor ovarian reserve ... - Malini [View Message]
