my baby is2 and half years old and is very active and playful. but when she gets angry she bites her hand very hard and it is worrying us very much. is this behaviour of hurting herself can be stopped. has anyone faced the same problem. my baby also does not chew food even now so iam giving her food after grinding it in mixie.is it normal. some one help me.

Don't worry.When she is biting herself she is actually doing it for getting attention.When she is doing such a thing just move away from her sight and look at her from a place where she will not be able to see you.When she she sees that you ara not giving her attention she'll stop doing it.As for the food does'nt matter eat with her and she will soon learn. sonika yadav replied. It must be very disconcerting to see your child suffer. I understand what you must be going through. Your child probably harms herself because she gets attention or thinks that she could get her way from harming herself. You have to distract her when ever you think she could possibly harm herself and later teach her the ways of dealing with \";no\"; for an answer. I understand this could always not be possible but you and your wife should work this out. But if the problem persist. i would advice you to see a qualified psychologist.good luck!!!
