Folic acid is right, It is basically Vit. B which is required when you ttc, or get pregnant. The medication that u are taking must be Glucophage.
Now, It is essential to loose weight. But this has to be done carefully. Please don;t stop eating. Coz your body needs it's nutrients. The idea is to eat right.
You have to take 4 small meals in a day. Start with a breakfast of cereal, milk, and fruits. Lunch can be some rice (by some rice I mean about one serving) and daal, 1 chappati, salads (unlimited), curd (preferably low fat), if you eat non-veg, then please try to see that it's cooked in the healthiest way possible.
Have a snack in the early evening, perhaps, a fruit/ some biscuits, if you eat bread then please choose wholemeal and eat it toasted. Avoid fried foods, take sweets in limited quantities. Try to cook the food in olive oil. I have been following a diet, and it has helped me loose about 3-4 kgs in one month. Which is just right, of course, I exercise, and do some yoga as well. If i'm not in the mood to exercise, i usually try to go for a walk. I as person, find it tough to start.. But I realise that once I start, I manage to continue for an hour or so. If u can join a gym that's great, else go for brisk walks, jogs, free hand exercises, yoga, even meditation and breathing (pranayam) is helpful. I'm sure that you'll loose weight once you try.
But most of all, I, you have to remain calm, fresh, cheerful, relaxed, and HAPPY. these positive vibrations also are important. Try to enjoy everything around you. Don't let this cripple everything you enjoy. I know that's hard. When I was diagnosed, I cried and cried bitterly. Even now sometimes when I see little kids, I cry... When I hear of friends who got married late. People younger than me having babies it's hard not to feel hurt, angry or incomplete. But you have to try. And for the rest of the support. We are there.
All the best, and God bless you.
Where are you based love?
Take care,
Love always,
S xx
Sunshine replied. Firstly I, relax. All this is saying is that you have polycystic ovaries. and that one of your ovaries, your right ovary is bigger. Please can you tell me what you gyn has said? and the doc prescribed any medications?
Don't go having any panic attacks my dear. Please please please, go easy on your self. High levels of stress make matters worse.
Are you overweight? If yes, then I suggest that you start taking good care of your health, eat right, exercise, go for walks. Prioritize your body.
Most important of all, keep faith in the One Above.
...HIS love is always with you, HIS promises are true, no matter what the tribulation, you know HE will see us thru. So, when the road you're traveling on, seems difficult at best, give your problems to the LORD, and GOD will do the rest.
May God bless you love,

We have been married for the last 12 years. We are trying for a baby but unfortunately every time it's disappointing. I had 3 abortion, 2 Ectopic pregnancy, 1 IUI failure and 2 IVF failures. I had septum in the uterus and got removed. Since I had a history of ectopic pregnancies, both my fallopian tubes are tied. Due to the poor ovarian reserve ... - Malini [View Message]
