I had written about my situation 4-5 days back on this board(my cycle lenght is either 34 or 36 days. My periods should have started on the 24th or 26) . My periods are delayed this time which has never happened before and I did a HPT test again today morning and came out negative. Confused as to what the reason could be. I have never had irregular periods in my life before. I was really hoping that it would test positive for pregnancy but hasint. Can anyone tell me the best brand of home pregnancy tests avalaible in the market. I used EPT. Please reply. Karishma replied. Hi IB,

Well as regards ur qs., guess you can meet ur gynac. she might advise you for a Beta HCG which is even more reliable than UPT. Check with that and even if that comes negative (hope it doesnt come ever), then ask your gynac what has to be done next. Sometimes UPT shows false negative and also false positive, so i feel dont much believe in that and check with your gynac what to do next. Might be she might tell you to repeat the test (UPT) again after 4-5 days. If so, then try the test again after 4-5 days.
