Hi Y'all,
I'm new to this message board. Are there other moms here that are having trouble conceiving the 2nd baby? I never thought that it would be an issue 2nd time around. Yesterday they did HSG after 9 months of trying to conceive. It turns out that I have a blocked left fallopian tube. Any people with similar problems? What is the next step? Do I still have hope? I had HSG on last feb and found out my left tube was blocked. My Dr.sent me to RE.And he asked me to do Tubal recanalization. This is a procedure similer to HSG but they use some thin wire and try to open the tube during the procedure. It can take 30 mins . The Blockage of the tube can be bz of the muscle spasm or it can be dried mucus plug or debris.In my case it was something like that and the RE was able to open my tube.So dont worry there is ways to open the tube. If it is not possible the drs will suggest laparoscopy as the next step i guess.That is depend on what kind of blockage u have like whether it is near the ovary side or near the uterus side.Hope that helps Good Luck Vaidehi replied. I also just had HSG last month and found out my right fallopian tube is completly blocked. My gynec has referred me to a fertility center so let's see what they will b doing. I will keep u posted with any progess.
