How long does the temperature need to be elevated to hope for pregnancy?i am 11dpo ,my temp is 98.0 F .Generally before my periods my breasts become v v tender.....but this month nothing.My period is due on 27/28th.I have a 27/28 cycle.can i have any hopes?1 more qn,when does one start putting on weight when pregnant?i am thin....will this come in the way of concieving?

how do i calculate leutal phase length?my cycle lenth is 27/28 .so am due tomorrow or day after...by the way today my temp turned out to be 97.9....does this mean i have no chance this month?

Hii

Hi Vidhya,
Luteal phase is the time period from ovulation to ur periods. That is same as days past ovulation(DPO).Ur LP is mostly same every month.There can be a slight difference. Usually after how many DPOs u get ur periods? So once ur passed ur LP and ur temps are high u may be preg. Just a single drop of temp that is as u said from 98 to 97.9 will not make any diff.So Be positive. hope u will get a BFP this month. My temp dropped from 97.9 to 97.5 today with all the PMS symptoms. So i m sure i m out from this month of ttc game...Moving to 15th month of ttc soon ..:( it is very frusrating .

Hi,
I read in some of the sites that elevated temps till 18dpo will confirm pregnancy usually.What is ur luteal phase length?If u passed ur luteal phase length and still ur temp is up then take an HPT.U may be Pregnant.Hope this is ur month ..Good Luck..Keep us posted. well i dont have any idea abt the weight thing :)

thanks Mithu!i get my periods 13/14 DPO.today i am 13 DPO,my temp today morning was 98.1 .......am just praying that i get lucky.....this is my 6th month ttc.will keep u posted....All the best to u for ur next month.
