To prevent motion sickness in kids, the best way is to keep the child busy. I always keep the windows of my car open when traveling with my kid so that he gets fresh air and does not feel nauseous. I never switch on th AC. also one tip that worked for me is giving my kid some peppermint to suck. Lemon also works great in relieving symptoms of motion sickness.

My daughter always gets a feeling of nausea and vomiting whenever she sits in a car or a bus. This is more pronounced if all the windows of the car or bus are closed. Sometimes she gets a terrible headache. Is there any natural cure to this as we are unable to travel happily to any place.

It is very difficult to travel with kids who get motion sickness. What you can do to counter the problem is diverting the attention of your daughter from traveling. You can play music or just speak to her to divert her attention. The best way is to take frequent small breaks so that she gets fresh air.

RE:Consticipation for 4 years old
This is an old thread but one thing no-one said was that exercise is important for gut motility. All the green veg and pear juice will be limited in their effectiveness if the kid isn't very physically active (just walking more and driving less helps!)
Also, my usual comment - use a child-size glycerin suppository if he's gone for two or more days without doing a do.... - Suzanne [View Message]
