Hi Archie,

When i got my HSG test done it showd that one tube is blocked. This was because 15 years back when i was small i had surgery to remove a tumer on my ovary.
After seeing HSG result doctor adviced laprascopy. Last thursady i got laproscopy, doctor removed my one because it was completely damaged. She also told because of this damaged tube i was not able to concieve. I don't why when one tube was OK, the damaged tube was creating problem for even the good tube?
Do u know the reason for this archie?

Now after laprascopy i have one good tube and the other rmoved. will i be able to concieve?
I have gone through enough pain all these days after the surgery.

bharathi archie replied. yes, with a one damaged tube you can be infertile. It depends on what type of damage it had. IF that was due to some infection better be removed than spreading to other tube.

Yes you can get pregnant with one functional tube provided there are no other factors like you have had with damaged tube.

I think your path is pretty clear. Remember your both ovaries will release egg and as long as the ovary preceding good tube releases egg in a given cycle you have chances of conceiving.

Try to work on ovulation days, by opk or bbt and plan intercourse, you will have 10% chances at each round of cycle.
