My 6 year old daughter hardly gets enough sleep. She goes to bed very late at night. she sleeps after everybody else sleeps. In the morning, she has to get up early as she has her school. so in a nutshell she has about 6 hrs sleep. Is this enough for her?

your daughter should have at least 8-9 hrs sleep at this age. Try to set a bedtime for her so that she gets use to it. You can read out a book to her as it will calm her mind and make her fall asleep.

Most kids with sleep problems are irritated and moody. They have poor concentration and they seem to be disinterested in everything. Performance also goes down.

RE:Consticipation for 4 years old
This is an old thread but one thing no-one said was that exercise is important for gut motility. All the green veg and pear juice will be limited in their effectiveness if the kid isn't very physically active (just walking more and driving less helps!)
Also, my usual comment - use a child-size glycerin suppository if he's gone for two or more days without doing a do.... - Suzanne [View Message]
