If stomach ache is severe then try keeping hot water bottle on the kid' s tummy. this will ease the pain. Let the child lie down and rest for a while. check the diet. give him some liquid diet and more water. also encourage him to sit on toilet so that he passes stool.

To provide relief, it is must to know the cause of stomach ache. if cause is known then treatment becomes easy. if cause is not known then you can try simple home remedies such as giving him warm water.

Common causes of stomach ache in kids are worm infestation, indigestion, constipation. Also stress or tension causes stomach ache in older children. sometimes allergies and some drugs can be a cause of stomach ache in kids.

This is an old thread but one thing no-one said was that exercise is important for gut motility. All the green veg and pear juice will be limited in their effectiveness if the kid isn't very physically active (just walking more and driving less helps!)
