helo there my daugther is 11/2 yr old and still on the bottle. im a working mother and my mom takes care of my daughter and she had tried to wean her but with little succes...can u all pls suggest me ways of weaning frm the bottle to glass....thank you for ur suggestions

Hello Neetu,
I understand that weaning from the bottle can be so very difficult.

What I did for my now 4 year old (who weaned from bottle around that age) is I slowing introduced her to a cup.

I purchased a sippy cup (a plastic spill proof cup)for her that was cute and easy to hold. First, to get her to like it, I made sure to put a little juice in it.

I would offer her the cup in-between meals.

Praise her for \";trying\";. Sometimes, offer your baby some of your water from your cup so she'll be interested in her own.
