HI,

My son is now 7 & half month at the age of 6 month i had started givng him food that time he eat is nicely but since almost last one week he is not taking food closing his mouth if trying to give.

Can you suggest y? he is behaving like that.

Also tell at what age does the child start sitting at present my child still need support to sit.

its common with all babies.ur baby is absolutely fine.My daughter also stop to eat that age but whn i switch tv then she will eat food happily.now her habit is without her favourite film in DVD she dont eat food.Latest favourite film is SHREK-2,Hanuman. I dont stop her also because her intake of food is more important for me right now.

try to show ur baby some pictures of animals of show some toy divert his mind n feed he will definately eat if no thn try little later.dont worry its phase of their development.

ya by 8 mths ur baby wil sit properly n by 10 mths crawl.give ur baby a little time to grow themself.

Every child goes thru various phases in eating..so if from last week ur child does nt open his mouth to eat its fine...in a few days he will again eat peacefully...just keep trying...n maybe after few days he may again do the same thing....it will pass...gradually.
As far as sitting is concerened all babies r diff...at least by 8mths they shuld be sitting...so dont woory just give the baby time
