I have a 1 year old baby girl, she is a very poor eater and also doesn't drink milk properly, so i am thinking of giving yogurt and cheese as many people are suggesting. I live in US, as u all know here we get different kind of cheese and yogurt, i want to know which type of yogurt and cheese usually baby love to eat, please suggest, i am really fed up of seeing her eating and drinking less.
Thanks and Regards

Nina replied. Hi,
In the area of yogurt, you could try plain yogurt or vanilla flavored. Avoid the ones with fruit in the bottom until you little one accepts the yogurt in the more simple form; also, to prevent any allergic reactions at her age.
Dannon brand yogurt is great. Avoid low-fat versions...First, you may want to purchase the single serving size and, later, you can buy the bigger size to keep on hand at home for everyday.
As far as cheese. The other people that commented are right in this regard also...
Stick to \";real\"; cheeses. Avoid those cheaper imitations that aren't wholesome.
When feeding your young child cheese, make sure to be super careful and cute it up into tiny cubes. The cheese should cubes should be big enough to pick up with tiny fingers but small enough to chew and swallow.
Also...
If those things aren't working, or, you want variety, go the the 'baby section' of the store and purchase a 6-pack of pediasure. This is an excellent nutritional drink for children ages 1-10 years of age.
The flavors are vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and banana. If you look on the label, you will see how this drink can replace a meal.
I used to purchase a lot of this for my girl until she started really eating what we ate.
Good luck!

your kid is a year old so you don't have to be very particular about what cheese or yogurt to give. as for chees, i used to feed my baby the usual kraft cheese. try not to give the fat free or 2% ones. give the whole milk cheese b'coz a growing child requires fat as opposed to us.
as far as yogurt goes, near the milk section in your grocer store, there is a special baby yogurt which is made from whole milk. if you want i'll check up the brand name. it comes in a few flavors like vanilla, babana, chocolate and strawberry. also , dannon has a bunch of yummy yogurts. the drinkable ones like danimals are delicious.
if your child likes to hold on his/her owm and nibble, then kraft also has the stick cheese . just go the cheese and yogurt section and i'm sure you will be have a large variety.
