My 21/2yrs old daughter is speaking only single syllables.. She is unable to speak combination of words.. Whichever word of4-5letters we say she repeats but she doesn't use them when she talks... Any speech therapist who knows telugu language... Please suggest if any near nigidi Hardika replied. In my nephew's case it was about 3+ years. My sister was concerned but we did not consult any speech therapist at that time. Once he began to frame sentences and speak, it's been some non-stop fun. He is very talkative boy now and his elder sister comes nowhere close.

I have lived in Pune for couple of years now. I doubt if any speech therapist can help you with Telegu here in Pune, let alone Nigdi.

In my nephew's case it was about 3+ years. My sister was concerned but we did not consult any speech therapist at that time. Once he began to frame sentences and speak, it's been some non-stop fun. He is very talkative boy now and his elder sister comes nowhere close.

Shelia is right. My brother didn't start speaking sentences until he was 4! If you are too worried, consult a speech therapist. Also get the opinion of your peadiatrician about this first. Why don't you try introducing songs to her? Maybe they'll appeal to her and she might try to sing them.
