Feeding:Baby refuses Nestle NAN1

Name: Minka

Hi ,

Since I am working , I am trying to feed my baby Nestle NAN1 apart from breats milk. But he seems to hate it.

So I tried mixing some breast milk and giving . He still hates it.

My MIL finally added some sugar and he had it after lot of crying.

I smelt the NAN1 formula and I don't like it ( smells kind of oily although the tin is fresh etc ).

Shall I switch to some other brand ? Any recommendations ? Is it oK to mix some sugar with the formula ( I thought it already has sugar like breast milk ) ?

Thanks
Minka

Hi Minka,

I have been giving my baby NAN1 since he was 4 months old. I had to weam him suddenly because of an illness i developed. But he took to it immediately. I think u shud persist with NAN1 without mixing anything. He will coem around to it. If u are in India, do stick to NAN1 and NAN2 till the baby is atleast a year old. And NAN! is a great infant formula. Dont worry.
