I am travelling to India with my 7.5 month old daughter to Bangalore. My worry is:
-What precautions to take when travelling overseas?Vaccines???(I know we were all born & brought up in Inida but still...)
-Whether to carry diapers & Gerber food?Heard we r able to get evrything in India these days.If we get,can anyone please tell me some store names in blore where I can get Gerber???& Are Indian Huggies diapers good?
-List of stuff to carry for our 2 month trip for the baby.

Please help me,I am really confused as people r scaring me telling horrifying stories.
Eagering waiting!!!

Hi Aish,

I travelld to India when my son was 7 1/2 monhs old.
Water :
I carried the \";Nursery water\"; that we get here in small paks. I carried like 3 packs of those. (3* 12) for the initial use for like 2 weeks and then switched him onto bisleri/any filterd bottled water. I used to boil any kind of water before I offer it. He did have loose bowel movements when I was switching him to the bisleri water and started giving him curd.

Diapers:

About diapers I carried enough for like 3 months... just in case if i needed more. I carried 5 paks of diapers roughly around 400.

About gerber food ..

I did not carry any as my son was not liking gerber food. They are expensive compared to the cost here. I used to give him fresh fruits like Sapota (Chiku)/ banana / apple (boiled) etc.

Formula:
If your daughter is on formula then carry 2 extra packs of enfamil too ... I took 4 big boxes but they were not sufficient .. considering wastage and also increased consumption...

Hope this helps and have a happy and safe trip..
