Foetal Growth Movements:baby's positon upside down

Name: leena Hi,
I am 22 weeks pregnant and today i had my ultrasound and the doctor told me that the baby is upside down,that is the head is down and its legs are up.i am really worried is that i could deliver early because of the position.i am concerned that i may deliver prematurely.Please let me know the position is like the way i said is a cause of concern.

hi leena. what sheeta said is correct.. baby's head should be down.. when i delivered first baby girl last oct the head is up until delivery time also no different then i have to go for c-section.. be happy my dear.. everything will be alright...

Hi Leena,

infact you should be happy. Thats the perfect way the baby should be. The baby's head should be down and the legs should be up coz when you deliver, its the baby's head that comes out first. There are lot of times when the baby is horizontal or head up and legs down, in such a case, normal delivery is not possible. One has to go for a c-section. You are perfectly fine.
