I dont really know much about over feeding since my daughter used to drink 2 ounces at that stage,,its better not to talk of that but still you give how much the baby wanted..they say some babies have big bellies and some small..so why dont you give the baby his fullest..No mother can see the son crying in hunger,so just go ahead and feed him and two and half hours is not so bad to feed..in good olden times no mothers checked the time or ounces and fed its the babies hunger what made them to drink..so follow their rule no problem...
about the heat rash if you are in USA,i can suggest you to use EUCERIN moisturing lotion, which is very good for the babies..this one i used for my baby..and it was working.Hope this helps

my son used to do this. he used to drink a lot, cry, cry, cry...colic..

try a pacifier instead of feeding him too much milk. the general milk need in a day should be 2.5 times the body weight.

Normally the peditricians ask to feed the baby every 3 hours. If your baby feels hungry and cries for food then please give him the milk he requires. Also let him decide how much he wants to drink. If he wants to drink 5 or 8 ounces then please let him drink that much.
The only thing I would advice is to avoid feeding the baby every 1 or 2 hours. Babies need to learn that they will be fed at regular intervals and then need to eat enough till the next feeding time. Next time, when he cries for food, give him milk as much as he wants so that he does not feel hungry immediately.

my daughter also had a problem of colic. one thing that u can do is take her on yr shoulders in such a way that his stomack shoud be pressed by yr shoulder and pat him on his back.... or better consult to yr docter and ask to show exercises.... it really works. because i feel only by reading u should not try.it should be done after every feed. for my daughter it really worked
