Problems in School:bagalore moms help me pl.

Nameste everyone, I live in USA.we are planning to go to India March 2006. I like to put my daughter in girls only school. I need some help from bangalore moms. i want to know which is best five schools including co-education.when do they start giving applications? is it hard to get an admission. my kid is above averege. not outstanding. sheis going to 7th in india. i heard that math is hard in india. and she has to byheart everything. here she is not used it. please can you moms advise me. she needs to make new friedns. she will be a new student in her class. can u pl. tell me how can she make friends.

Hello Meenal,

Please firm up on where you are going to live. You cannot commute in INdia as easily as in the US. So distance is a criterion in searching a good school. I can help you out with good schools in AECS/WHITEFIELD area.

hi, given bangalore's expansion i would advice you to look at schools in the area you will be staying. there are school buses - but there are also terrible traffic jams!!! having said that, another suggestion would be not to focus on only girls schools. the newer schools are doing very good work and they donot focus on rote learning - but they are all co-eds. and then there are the international schools that may suit the children - but you need to visit india and take a look at the options. this schoold be around 3rd week of october (after the holidays). quite a few schools start admission procedures then.
